We welcomed Jo Cook and Helen Davies to the team as PhD and PDRA reps.  The draft Code of Conduct has been submitted to DMT and we await a decision on whether that has been accepted. Janice Simpson (Careers) has agreed to carry out interviews for our Athena Swan application, which will take place over the summer and consist of 5-6 sets of groups/ individuals.

The question about re-grading for PS staff was raised following the announcement that academic promotions have been reinstated.  This will be raised at Faculty level.  Discussions also took place regarding the recruitment process following some UB observer feedback. It was suggested that panel members should be sent a list of Do’s and Don’ts before the shortlisting process to ensure there is absolute clarity.
