The Department of Environment and Geography was launched in 1992 to design and implement an interdisciplinary programme of research and training in environmental economics and environmental management, the Department of Environment and Geography subsequently expanded to incorporate environmental science and geography. You can find more information about our history on the Department of Environment and Geography webpages.
