How to add hyperlinks into Tableau reports - specifically the homepage to help users get more information and context for their data.
Step by step guide:
Publish the report to TableauTest
Viewing the report in the Test server, click on the ‘Edit’ button in the blue Tableau menu:
This lets you edit the report within the browser and add a hyperlink via the text editor:
Once the links are added, download the report again
From the newly downloaded report in Tableau Desktop you can upload it to Tableau Server and the links will remain intact
