AudioLab Seminar
This is a series of talks arranged by Karolina for the AudioLab members - for everyone involved with the Lab could give a research talk, which would be followed by a short Q&A session with the colleagues from the Lab.
When? Wednesdays at 1pm, weekly (initially 19.03-4.06, later on after the summer).
Where? Teaching room in Genesis 6. Talks will be streamed on Zoom, but the presenter will be always on the campus in person to better interact with the audience.
What?
Duration: Up to 1 hour, including 15-30 min talk on a topic from your research and some time for Q&A afterwards (flexible so no need to be rigorously keeping time)
Format: presentation/demo - it should ideally be about your recent/current research project (so ideally not your entire PhD topic, for example, also not a keynote about several projects).
Good formats are: submitted/accepted/recently published papers, conference rehearsal talks, viva rehearsals (exception to the not-entire-PhD rule), but also intermediate results of pilot studies/experiments/surveys are good.
Who? AudioLab members. Anyone interested please contact Karolina to join. She will ask for the topic/title of your talk, so she can advertise it others at our lab.
Zoom? Here is the link for people would like to join online.
Contacts US: Any questions about the seminar, please message Karolina. You could also give comments or feedback or suggestions to me, to provide better experiences of this whole and high quality internal communication for the lab.
