Tips:
You can keep your camera on or off.
You will be muted upon entry and cannot unmute yourself without the host permission - this is to avoid accidentally open mics mid-presentation.
If you have questions, please ask them using Q&A function in the Zoom meeting: click the Q&A button and type in your question, the presenter will answer after the talk is concluded.
The Q&A button will be most likely visible in the meeting controls pane:
When asking a question, you can choose to use your name or be anonymous. The questions will appear in the “Open” tab:
The speaker will either answer live or type in the answer. The answered questions will appear in the “Answered” tab:
There will also be the possibility to open your mic and ask your questions after the talk. Please use the “Raise hand” button in Zoom if you have a question. First choose “Rest” button from the meeting controls pane and then click “Raise hand”:
