Website amends
- Course pages and new study pages - contact your Department's Spoke Marketing and Recruitment Specialist (each new School/Department website has an agreed governance framework that specifies who is responsible for which pages)
- Support with website news stories, event listings or advice on new web content is handled by our colleagues in the Communications Team. Please use this online form. You can also refer to the web CMS guide.
- Paid-for advertising
- We have an institutional contract with a Media Agency, and all paid advertising needs to be booked through them. Please contact your HFMR if you have any queries.
- FindaPhD credits
- Unfortunately we no longer have a package with FindAPhd that enables departments to have free credits to advertise opportunities. There will now be a cost of £30 per ad which will need to be funded by the School/Department. If you have an opportunity to advertise and the funds to do so, please contact the PG Marketing Team mrao-pg-marketing@york.ac.uk and they will be happy to help.
- Communications with staff and current students
- Staff Digest, Student Digest, and the University's social media channels are handled by the Communications Team.
- Research promotion
- Support with promoting academic research is handled by the Communications Team including Media Relations

- Images and video: The brand portal includes 1000s of images and video clips (searchable by subject area)
- Poster templates: The University has a selection of poster templates on the brand platform. These are print-ready, in a variety of sizes up to A2. The Design team have created some guidelines on how to use these templates.
