Your overall Year 1 mark will form part of the basis on which optional courses in Year 3 are allocated if they prove to be oversubscribed.

When you are in Year 2, your marks for each course strand will be summarised on e:Vision as a 0-100 mark for each of the five course strands (RM, B&B, P&C, D&L, SPA). Each year of the degree course counts as 120 'credits overall'. Three of the Year 1 course strands are 20-credit modules and two are 30-credit modules. To calculate your overall Year 1 mark on the University's 0-100 scale, you need to weight these accordingly.
