This guide - using the Applications Summary workbook as an example - will explain how to create a custom view on a Tableau workbook. Custom Views enable the user to return to a set of filters and display settings without having to select them each time.

In this example we will create a custom view to see Admissions numbers for students under a single Route Owner, but also include students in joint programmes (eg English/History).

1) Create the view by using filters

Example: Below is the default view for the UG Applications Summary when opening the workbook. In this case, we will select an Admissions Entity (eg History), and then any other Route Owners of courses delivered by that Admissions Entity (eg English and Related Literature).
