Nick Milner

Area(s) of Responsibility

Project management of educational programmes organising the shape and content of courses which includes designing, evaluating and teaching on bespoke programmes and creating assessment schemes. I also coordinate and supervise teams of tutors and guest lecturers, and am part of the business development team bringing in new short-courses and summer-schools business through international visits.

Professional Interests

My professional interests include teacher training, professional development and the Internationalisation of Higher Education.

External Activities

I have worked as a freelance writer and editor for Oxford University Press and Macmillan Heinemann and as a Cambridge examiner. “Managing Learning Cultures in the EFL Classroom” (IATEFL Conference, 2010)   

Further Information

I previously worked at language schools in Spain and the UK as a ELT teacher and Director of Studies before spending 6 years working as Head of the International Department at a private secondary school. I hold a Diploma in ELT and a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching as well as a Diploma in ELT Management.
