As part of her ILO role, Jenny Pollard is part of the workingΒ group for Dales to Vale Rivers Network. Please get in touch if you are interested in joining/working with the working group. More info can be found below.

The Dales to Vale Rivers Network (DVRN) is a partnership of people, groups and organisations who work together to improveΒ the Swale, Ure, Nidd, Ouse, Wharfe,Β WiskeΒ and Foss.Β Last year we asked for your help in refreshing ourΒ aspirationsΒ for each of the catchments we cover.Β  We had over 250 responses, in which you shared with us your thoughts and opinions on the priority issues and the projects you would like to see addressing those issues.Β  We have built your responses into the Catchment Managment Plans which will be used to drive forward strategic, collective action across our river catchments for the benefit of all. Β Β

The Catchment Management plan is now published on our webpageΒ along with actions for each river catchment.Β Β

Working together we can achieve so much more to improve the quality, biodiversity and function of our rivers and the resilience and wellbeing of our communities than we can independently.Β  I really appreciate the support you have all given us and I look forward to driving forward actions to improve our rivers and their catchments.

Charlotte Simons, Senior Catchment Partnership Officer
