There are several types of engagement - please review the options below and follow the links through to the right page to view the process.

The preferred method of recruitment. Contracts can be fixed-term or permanent.
To be used for named researchers, TUPE transfers, or a temporary need between 12 weeks - 6 months.
For casual work up to 12 weeks.
Note that GTAs are casual workers but are covered in a separate process: see the GTA page for more information.
For temporary admin support up to 12 weeks.
Where we specify the work to be done and the date by which it is to be completed, but the individual has the freedom to carry out the work in the manner and at times of their own choosing.
