To be able to edit your own webpages, all you need to do is take the website training course (around 1-2 hours). People who have already done this training will tell you that it is really quite straightforward once you are in the know. Imagine how great it would be if all our pages were up to date with all of the latest information, including your own interests and activities!

If you would like to be able to keep your web pages up to date (and you haven't been trained) add your name to Bryce's webpage training spreadsheet. If we get enough people, Bryce will organise for a group training session, ideally run in the department. We also plan to increase the number of people who can approve changes to make the whole process more efficient.

Alternatively, please email Click here to see who is responsible for updating what part of the Department's website.

Reminder of process for updating web pages:
To make an edit to a webpage for which you are responsible, or to make a change to your personal profile, you will need to fill out a Web Request Form and it will be picked up by the UOY comms team. They usually action straightforward updates within a few working days. If you have any questions regarding this form, please email communications-support@york.ac.uk.

Mark Tolley (mark.tolley@york.ac.uk) for help with will also be able to advise on creating or updating your profile.
