There are currently four programme managers who work at CGP Summer Schools and Short Courses. One programme manager will be assigned to manage your programme. However, if your programme manager is on leave or absent for whatever reason then another programme manager will temporarily look after your course. |

Area(s) of ResponsibilityProject management of educational programmes organising the shape and content of courses which includes designing, evaluating and teaching on bespoke programmes and creating assessment schemes. I also coordinate and supervise teams of tutors and guest lecturers, and am part of the business development team bringing in new short-courses and summer-schools business through international visits. Professional InterestsProfessional interests include the design, delivery and assessment of educational programmes to deliver twenty-first century skills such as creativity, critical thinking and intercultural competence. I am also interested in internationalisation on campus and the promotion of student mobility through integration activities, foreign language provision and intercultural training. External ActivitiesI was Acting Head of Derwent College in the academic year 2018-19, and remain a fellow of the college, providing academic leadership and mentoring. I have given a series of conference papers on the delivery and assessment of twenty-first century skills, as well as cognitive theory of metaphor and the milieu of late-nineteenth century scientific writing. I have also worked on the editorial board of a small archaeological publishing house in Germany, overseeing the publication of their first volume in English. Further InformationI hold a Diploma in English Language Teaching and a PhD in the use of metaphor in late nineteenth century scientific language. I have worked at universities and language schools in the UK, Spain and Japan. I am also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. |

I have worked in various roles within the secondary, higher and private language education sectors in Hungary and the UK. |
